What is Ivim Health?
Ivim Health is a telehealth weight-loss service run by Ivim Services LLC out of Columbus, Ohio, in business since April 2022. The first thing to understand is that the app is the product: intake, provider visits, messaging, dose changes and refills all happen inside the Ivim Health app rather than a web portal. Its BBB profile names a physician co-founder, Dr. Taylor Kantor MD, alongside CEO Anthony Kantor, which is not something most companies in this category can say.
Its menu is broader than most compounded-only rivals: compounded semaglutide and liraglutide alongside brand-name GLP-1s. The pricing is split in two, and that split is the thing to understand before you sign up. Membership is $75 a month. Medication is billed separately, starting at $75 a month, and Ivim says the actual figure depends on your individual treatment plan.
How much does Ivim Health actually cost?
Ivim splits its price in two, and both halves are published. Membership is $75 a month, covering ongoing care and access to your care team. Medication is billed separately, starting at $75 a month. So the cheapest you can realistically pay is $150 a month, and only if your plan prices at that floor. Ivim is explicit that the medication figure varies: "Billed based on your individual treatment plan", and "Pricing subject to change. Medication costs vary based on your individualized treatment plan." The floor is real; the ceiling is not published.
How Ivim Health’s pricing compares
Ivim Health’s real all-in monthly cost against every provider we track, cheapest to priciest.
All-in = membership + medication + known fees, cheapest realistic pathway. Advertised “starting” prices run lower; see the table below for the full breakdown.
| Medication | Form | Advertised | What you'll actually pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Membership Compounded | Monthly, all medications | $75/mo | $75/mo |
| Compounded semaglutide Compounded | Weekly injection | From $75/mo | From $150/mo with membership |
| Compounded liraglutide Compounded | Daily injection | From $75/mo | From $150/mo with membership |
| Brand-name GLP-1s | Weekly or daily injection | Not published | $75/mo membership plus the pharmacy price |
Prices checked August 12, 2026 against Ivim Health's published pricing. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
What's included
- Ongoing care and continued access to your care team, which is what the membership buys
- The Ivim app, where intake, visits, messaging and refills all happen
What costs extra
- The medication itself, billed separately and starting at $75/mo
- Lab work, if your clinician orders it
Cancellation and refunds
Membership is managed inside the Ivim app. Ivim does not publish its cancellation or refund terms, and the BBB records the same thing in its own words: "No refund policy stated on website." Read that next to the 101 billing complaints on Ivim's BBB file, because every one of those disputes happened without published refund terms to point at. Get the terms in writing from support before you pay.
Both published figures checked against ivimhealth.com/why-membership on August 12, 2026. We will note any change here.

Is Ivim Health legit?
Ivim Health is a real company, Ivim Services LLC of Columbus, Ohio, and its record is the strongest of any provider we have checked so far. It is BBB accredited with an A+, and we found no FDA warning letter, no state board action and no Lilly lawsuit against it, which separates it from Remedy, Henry and Mochi. That is not the same as no complaints. Here is what the records show, in both directions.
Care is delivered by licensed providers inside the app. Ivim's BBB profile names a physician co-founder, Dr. Taylor Kantor MD, which is a real credential and rare in this category. Ivim does not publish the size or structure of its prescribing network on its public site, so we are not going to put a number on it.
Ivim does not name the pharmacies that fill its prescriptions. Whether a compounding pharmacy is registered as a 503A or a 503B changes the oversight it operates under, and you cannot check a pharmacy you cannot name. When your first order arrives, read the pharmacy name printed on the label and look it up with your state board.
Better Business Bureau · August 12, 2026
Read Ivim's BBB file carefully, because it says two things at once. Ivim is BBB accredited with an A+. It also has 101 complaints on file over three years, 32 of them closed in the last twelve months, and the ones BBB displays are categorized as Billing Issues. The difference between this and Henry Meds' F on 232 complaints is the status field: Ivim's read "Answered". BBB grades how a company handles complaints, not how many it gets. Alongside that, BBB notes "No refund policy stated on website."

Protect yourself: what to check at checkout & on the label
Compounded GLP-1s ship without the packaging you’d get from a pharmacy chain, and the advertised price is rarely the real one. Before you pay Ivim Health, and when your order arrives, verify:
On the checkout screen
- The recurring charge and its cadence. Separate the membership fee from the medication price so a “$99” plan isn’t silently $178/mo.
- Every add-on line item: consultation, lab work, shipping, and dose-increase surcharges.
- The cancellation terms and next bill date, shown before you confirm. Screenshot this.
- A clear order confirmation with an itemized total, not just a “welcome” email.
On the compounded label
- The compounding pharmacy’s name and state license. Then confirm it on LegitScript or the state board.
- Active ingredient and strength (e.g. “semaglutide 2.5 mg/mL”). It should match what you were prescribed.
- A beyond-use / discard-by date and a lot number. Sterile compounds are dated; a missing date is a red flag.
- The prescribing clinician’s name, a real prescriber, not just the brand.
What real users say about Ivim Health
What users praise
- The app itself, with dosing schedules, provider messaging and refills in one place
- Provider access and responsive check-ins
- Plans that adjust medication and dose over time
What users complain about
- Billing surprises and refund disputes, the category BBB assigns to most of its complaints
- Refund arguments made harder by there being no published refund policy
- Refill delays that leave gaps between doses
- Cancellation friction, which is among the most-searched Ivim queries
Individual reviews can't establish medication quality or predict your results. Treat them as a read on the company's operations, not the drug.
Does Ivim Health take insurance?
Ivim does not publish an insurance policy on its site, so we are not going to tell you whether it bills insurance or takes an HSA or FSA card. Ask during intake. What is published is the shape of the cost: a $75 monthly membership, with medication billed on top.
If Ivim writes you a brand-name prescription like Wegovy or Zepbound, ask whether it can be routed through your insurance at the pharmacy rather than billed cash. And the standing rule applies: if your plan already covers a brand-name GLP-1, price that first, because a covered prescription through your own doctor carries no membership fee on top of it.
Ivim Health vs the alternatives
| Provider | From | Medications | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mochi Health | From $139/mo | Compounded GLP-1s | Same membership model with dietitian support |
| Remedy Meds | Not published | Compounded GLP-1s | Month-to-month billing, cancel online |
| Hims | $39 first month, then $298/mo all-in | Brand-name GLP-1s, three of them pills | Widest brand-name GLP-1 menu |
Final verdict
Choose Ivim Health if…
- You want the app-first experience, with visits, dosing, messaging and refills in one place
- You want compounded and brand-name options behind a single provider relationship
- A BBB-accredited company with an A+ matters to you more than a single flat price
Skip it if…
- You want your exact monthly total published before you hand over a card
- A recurring membership stacked on top of the medication price is not how you want to pay
- 101 billing complaints in three years gives you pause, even answered ones
Ivim has the cleanest record of any provider we have checked. It is BBB accredited, it holds an A+, we found no FDA letter or lawsuit against it, and it has a physician co-founder. It is also the one whose complaints are almost entirely about money: 101 of them in three years, mostly billing, against a site with no published refund policy. Both halves of its price are published, which is more than Remedy manages, but only the floor of the medication half, so $150 a month is the cheapest realistic figure rather than the expected one. Get your quote in writing, and know how to cancel before you subscribe.

Ivim Health FAQ
Is Ivim Health legit?
Yes, and by the records we can check it has the strongest standing of any provider we review. Ivim Services LLC is a real Columbus, Ohio company, in business since April 2022, BBB accredited with an A+ since February 2023, with a physician co-founder named on its BBB profile. We found no FDA warning letter, state board action or Lilly lawsuit against it. Legitimate does not mean complaint-free: BBB lists 101 complaints in three years, most of them billing issues.
How much does Ivim Health cost per month?
Both halves are published. Membership is $75 a month. Medication is billed separately, starting at $75 a month, with the actual figure set by your treatment plan. So the cheapest you can realistically pay is $150 a month, and only if your plan prices at the floor. Ivim says pricing is subject to change and medication costs vary, so get your quote in writing before you pay.
Does Ivim Health have a good BBB rating?
It has an A+ and it is BBB accredited. Read that alongside the rest of the file, though: BBB lists 101 complaints over three years, 32 closed in the last twelve months, and the ones it displays are categorized as billing issues. The reason Ivim keeps an A+ while Henry Meds carries an F on 232 complaints is that Ivim's show as answered. BBB grades how a company handles complaints, not how many it receives.
How do I cancel my Ivim membership?
Membership is managed inside the Ivim app. Ivim does not publish its cancellation terms, and the BBB records that no refund policy is stated on its website either, so there is nothing public to hold it to. Cancel well before your next billing date, keep written confirmation, and check your statement the following month. Billing after an attempted cancellation is a recurring theme in the complaints.
Which pharmacy fills Ivim prescriptions?
Ivim does not say. When your first order arrives, read the pharmacy name on the label and look it up with your state board of pharmacy, which we link above. That also tells you whether it is a 503A or a 503B, which changes the oversight it operates under.
Is the Ivim app any good?
By its ratings, yes. The iOS app is rated 4.7 out of 5 from about 8,000 ratings, and the app is genuinely the whole product here rather than a companion to a web portal.
